PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin storing and dispensing device for an automated change depositing and dispensing machine, and an automated change depositing and dispensing machine, that take measures against shortage of coin change of plural kinds, while achieving reduction in the number of components, down-sizing and cost reduction.SOLUTION: The coin storing and dispensing device for an automated change depositing and dispensing machine includes: a coin storage box 10 in which two kinds of coins can be stored separately; and a coin discharge mechanism 20 which selectively discharges the two kinds of coins from within the coin storage box to the outside. The coin storage box has first chambers 1Aa, 1Ba and 1Ca and second chambers 1Ab, 1Bb and 1Cb for separately storing the two kinds of coins. The coin discharge mechanism discharges coins of the first chambers or the lowermost part in the second chambers to the outside according to rotational drive force caused by positive rotation of an external motor M, and discharges coins of the second chambers or the lowermost part in the first chambers to the outside according to rotational drive force caused by reverse rotation of the motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
