PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for exposing cells to a non-hydrophilic substance.SOLUTION: The present invention is formed to have a first liquid carrier that can flow or maintain a first liquid that is a hydrophilic liquid; a second liquid carrier that is a non-hydrophilic liquid that is incompatible with the first liquid, and can flow or maintain a second liquid containing a non-hydrophilic substance; a support capable of defining the first liquid carrier and the second liquid carrier, in which either or both of the first liquid and the second liquid are transferable; and a cell maintained in at least one part of the support in a state in contact with the first liquid and the second liquid.SELECTED DRAWING: None
