PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical display monitoring device requiring no work to create information on lighting state of an optical display unit at the time of abnormality in monitoring operation of an image of the optical display unit.SOLUTION: A monitoring setting table 47 stores light emitting state of optical display unit in normal state of monitoring target unit for each optical display unit. A lighting determination section 53 determines the light emitting state of each light display section from the monitor image 42 indicating the light emitting state of the optical display unit. A state determination section 54 determines whether or not the monitoring target unit is normal based on the lighting state of each of the optical display units and the monitoring setting table 47 determined by the lighting determination unit 53.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
