PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suede-like woven or knitted fabric having uniform fluffs, which have not been obtained so far, on a surface of the woven or knitted fabric and having an excellent fine suede touch.SOLUTION: The combined filament yarn is a combined filament yarn in which at least two polyester filaments are combined. The combined filament yarn has a core part and a sheath part. A polyester filament A constituting the core part has a shrinkage percentage in boiling water of 15% or more. A polyester filament B constituting the sheath part is a sea and island type polyester filament in which two island component polyesters are combined into a side-by-side structure so as to form an island part.SELECTED DRAWING: None
