The thermoresponsive composition contains a color-forming dye A, which is a reaction product of an electron-donating colorless dye precursor A and an electron-accepting compound A that develops the electron-donating colorless dye precursor A, and a discoloration temperature adjusting agent. And an electron-accepting compound B that causes the electron-donating colorless dye precursor B to develop a color, outside the microcapsule. The heat-responsive material contains the microcapsules, the electron-donating colorless dye precursor B, and the electron-accepting compound B in the heat-sensitive layer.
