To provide a corset suitable for reducing load applied on the waist of a wearer caused by increase of work load or wearing for a long time.SOLUTION: A muscle strength assist tool 1 includes: an overall suit 2; a corset fastening force adjuster 3 provided on outside of a rear body 21 of the overall suit 2; and a corset 4 wound around the waist part from outside of the overall suit 2. Fastening force of the corset 4 is further increased by extruding backward right and left fastening force adjusting sheets 44R, 44L arranged in such a way as to be overlapped with a waist pad part 40 so as to cross each other on the back face side. The corset fastening force adjuster 3 extrudes backward the right and left fastening force adjusting sheets 44R, 44L by bending first and second operating bodies 31, 32 in accordance with the forward bending motion of a wearer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
