PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a chloroprene rubber composition containing a silane coupling agent capable of suppressing scorching due to a silane crosslinking and a method for producing the same; a method for producing a cable and an electric wire using the chloroprene rubber composition produced by the method; and a chloroprene rubber composition for silane cross-linking.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a cable 10, which comprises a step of extrusion coating a chloroprene rubber composition containing a silane coupling agent, which is produced by a method for producing a chloroprene rubber composition containing a silane coupling agent comprising a step of adding a silane coupling agent to a chloroprene rubber composition having a moisture content of 0.20 mass% or less, to form a sheath.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
