PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase in device size and observation data to simultaneously achieve both of polarimetric SAR observation and moving body detection.SOLUTION: A polarimetric SAR device is configured to: switch a transmission signal between H polarization transmission and V polarization transmission for each transmission pulse; switch a Δ signal to be received by a Σ/Δ antenna of at least any one polarization antenna of an H polarization antenna and V polarization antenna, and Σ signal to be received by the other polarization antenna thereof for each transmission pulse; obtain a first observation data string that receives the Δ signal received by the Σ/Δ antenna and the Σ signal received by the other antenna in response to the transmission pulse; further obtain a second observation data string that receives the Σ signal to be received by the Σ/Δ antenna in response to the transmission pulse; select data to be used in polarimetric observation, and data to be used in detection of a moving object from the first observation data string and second observation data string; and generate a polarimetric SAR image and moving body detection image from these data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
