To provide an estimation method of an influence area of a freight station that focuses on a freight station as a node between a rail transport and a region and quantifies an influence on a freight transportation for surrounding region of a freight station so as to estimate an influence area of the freight station (station area).SOLUTION: An estimation method of an influence area of a freight station includes a step of acquiring database in which influence factors of a freight transportation around a freight station is systematized, a step of setting a qualitative evaluation index value, quantitative evaluation index value and an access time distance in order to generate an evaluation model for an item and an area of a freight for the freight transportation, step of selecting one freight station as an evaluation station, a step of selecting an evaluation model for estimation from the plurality of evaluation models by identifying the item and the area of the freight, a step of calculating an evaluation value of a railway transportation using the evaluation station and an evaluation value of a truck transportation, and step of calculating an influence degree on a surrounding area of the evaluation station by the estimation model.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
