To provide a shaking-out type fishing rod capable of specifying accurately a stationary position of an idling guide provided on a rod, and obtaining a stable stationary state by a simple constitution.SOLUTION: A shaking-out type fishing rod is provided with an idling guide stationary portion 20 for fixing the idling guide 11 on the surface of the rod. The idling guide stationary portion 20 has an uneven part 21 formed continuously at a prescribed interval in a circumferential direction, and extending in the axial direction heightened gradually with transfer to the butt side, and a guide projection 23 formed along the center axis, in a long state in the axial direction to the uneven part 21, and with a width different from the interval of the uneven part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
