To provide an epoxy resin composition that has low viscosity and good impregnating ability into a fiber and has excellent mechanical characteristics and heat resistance in the resulting cured product, to provide a curable resin composition containing the epoxy resin composition, to provide a cured product, to provide a fiber-reinforced composite material, to provide a fiber-reinforced resin molded article and to provide a method for manufacturing a fiber-reinforced resin molded article.SOLUTION: The epoxy resin composition containing (A) an epoxy resin being a reaction product of catechol which may have a methyl group as a substituent on an aromatic ring or pyrogallol which may have a methyl group as a substituent on an aromatic ring with epihalohydrin and (B) a bisphenol type epoxy resin is used.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
