PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burr removing device and a method of using the burr removing device which can surely remove burrs generated at the time of manufacturing a welded H-shaped steel with a brush.SOLUTION: Since a pair of frames 22 to which the brushes 7 are attached are connected by connecting members 23 which keep constant a distance between the brushes, even if a flange member 4b is displaced in a direction perpendicular to its traveling direction and one brush 7 located on a side in a displaced direction is pushed out in the same direction by the flange member 4b and rotationally moved together with one frame 22, the other brush 7 located on the opposite side follows the one brush 7 and rotationally moves together with the other frame 22 due to the connection of the other frame 22 to the one frame 22 by the connection members 23. Therefore, the distance between the brushes becomes constant, which brings the brushes 7 into sure contact with both side ends of the flange member 4b, so that burrs can be surely removed by the brushes 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
