To provide an automatic warehousing system in which a person can travel over a carriage.SOLUTION: An automatic warehousing system has a storage shelf part 22 which can keep a load, and comprises a first carriage loading a load and shifting in a first direction and a second carriage 16 loading the first carriage and shifting in a second direction crossing the first direction near a frontage of the storage shelf 22. The second carriage 16 is configured such that the height of an end in the second direction at a first position in the first direction is lower than the height of an end in the second direction at a second position which is different from the first position in the first direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
