A network of computing devices connected to the central NOV management server (CNOVMS) run a method to execute the process of collecting and communication data from NOV crew with the maintenance controller, supporting the creation by the maintenance controller of an unique electronic data package (case) to record the NOV data, submitting a plurality of maintenance requests from the CNOVMS to a plurality of independent mechanics mobile devices and/or a plurality of maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) computing systems for maintenance using the collect NOV data, supporting maintenance control center controller to identify the needed materials for the NOV events, providing visibility of the NOV case solution progress to all parties involved and/or effected and providing ways to retrieve all data related to specific NOV cases and creating analyses and reports to support Vehicles Operators (e.g., Airlines), independent mechanics, MROs (maintenance repair overhaulers), material providers and OEMs to improve their processes to solve NOV events (e.g., time and cost reductions, lower impacts on operations).
