integrated fermentation process module for the selective production and recovery of butanol and acetone and the pervaporation process. the present invention describes an integrated fermentation process module for the selective production and recovery of butanol and acetone which comprises the following elements: a bioreactor; a silicone membrane; a vacuum pump; and a permeate condensation system comprising a permeate collecting container. in addition, the present invention also describes a pervaporation process for the selective removal of butanol and acetone formed in a bioreactor, in which the process takes place in the integrated module. the process comprises the following steps: contacting a fermentation medium comprising butanol and acetone produced in a bioreactor with a first side of a silicone membrane; diffusing a part of the fermentation medium through the first side of the membrane by applying a matrix force in the process induced by a vacuum pump; obtaining on the second side of the membrane a gaseous permeate comprising butanol and acetone; condensing the gaseous permeate in a condensation system; and collect the condensate permeate in a container.
