process for the manufacture of porous metal-organic structures using waste from the galvanotechnical industry as a raw material the present invention refers to the process for the manufacture of porous metal-organic materials (mof’s) using waste from the galvanotechnical industry as a raw material. this invention is inserted in the field of applied chemistry, since the developed porous material can be applied in several processes such as: pollution control, heterogeneous catalysis, drug release, chemical and electrochemical sensors. the production process of these materials is comprised of a mixture of residues from the galvanotechnical industry containing metals with nitrogenous organic compounds, under constant agitation and at room temperature. the manufacturing process uses water as a solvent and makes it possible to obtain metallorganic materials after 20 seconds of contact between the precursors. thus, the process presented in this invention is amenable to large-scale application and makes it possible to obtain mofs with phase purity and high crystallinity.
