synthesis process of natural catalyst for biodiesel production the present invention refers to the synthesis of an environmentally friendly natural catalyst to be used in the production of biodiesel. more specifically, the present invention is related to a process for the production of biodiesel using as a natural catalyst, selected from the calcined coconut derivatives and residues, obtained through calcination (thermal decomposition) using parabolic solar concentrator. properly prepared coconut shell-based catalysts were synthesized using muffle furnace and solar concentrator. obtaining biodiesel from the transesterification of a vegetable oil and / or the esterification of a fatty acid with an alcohol using said catalyst presents several advantages when compared to conventional catalytic processes, as for example, they do not generate by-products, they are more selective, they are separated more easily and can be reused, thus eliminating the need to use catalysts harmful to the environment. it can also be categorized as a process and product with application in the area of renewable fuels.
