The present invention relates to a high strength fiber composition comprising fibers of length equal to or less than 7 mm and a viscosity between 10 and 20 cP. The fibers present in said composition are distributed according to their length, thus guaranteeing their high strength. The fiber composition of the invention can also be redispersible. Also disclosed are the use of the fiber composition of the invention and an article comprising it.
