process of obtaining a cementitious matrix with coconut fiber for thermal insulation and glass powder to improve the workability of mortars the present invention belongs to the technological sector of construction materials applied to civil engineering and refers, more specifically, to a composition of mortar based on granulated residues of glass powder and green coconut fibers and their respective process of obtaining. the proposed green mortar replaces the fine aggregate (sand), commonly used in the manufacture of mortar, in parts of volume by green coconut fiber particles and glass powder. the main objective of the invention is to provide a reduction in the environmental impact caused by the improper disposal of solid waste from the glass and coconut production chain. the solid residues used in this research can be used as fine aggregate for civil construction, without losing the essential properties necessary for its use as a non-structural element for civil construction (sealing elements and thermal control for civil construction).
