a modernization kit for an original protection bar (rbo) for a car with a single historic seat (mps), comprising an additional protection bar (rba) in the shape of an inverted u or v and identifying two second ends (11 , 12) operationally inferior, and in which each of said two second ends is adapted to be associated with the first two ends of said original protection bar by means of reversible connection means (21, 22, 31, 32) and by minus an additional reinforcement rod (ra1, ra2) adapted to be connected between a vertex (va) of said additional protection bar and said frame or an engine block (h) of said car with a single historic seat; the additional protection bar being operationally superimposed on said original protection bar.
