exemplifying modalities provide systems and methods for changing the emphasis of an informational overlay on augmented reality displays. in an exemplifying method, an informational overlay is presented over a scene on a display device. the informational overlay includes at least one graphic element or one textual element to partially obscure the scene. scene change data indicates that a scene change is accessed. based on the scene change data, a visual emphasis on the display device of at least a portion of the informational overlay relating to the scene is modified.
