process for the isolation of bioactive compounds of terminalia arjuna. more specifically, the invention discloses a process for isolating and enriching bioactive compounds of arjunic acid, arjunolic acid, arjungenine, arjunetine, arjunoglycoside-i, arjunoglycoside-ii, and catechin of the terminalia arjuna bark. the invention also discloses a standardized composition to contain 3% arjunoglycosides isolated from the bark of terminalia arjuna.
