abrasive particles having special morphology the invention relates to an abrasive particle having an uneven surface, where the surface roughness of the particle is less than 0.95. it also refers to a method for the production of modified abrasive particles, including providing a plurality of abrasive particles, providing a reactive coating on said particles, heating said coating particles, and recovering the modified abrasive particles.
