cold temperature stable biocidal composition, mixture and method for providing resistance to microorganisms a biocidal composition which is synergistic comprising a compound of n- (2-nitroalkyl) morpholine of formula i where r, x and y are as defined herein together with an aromatic alcohol . the composition is stable in cold temperatures and is therefore useful for the control of microorganisms in a variety of matrices, including liquid fuels.
