The technical result of the invention is the identification of a new strain of Klebsiella pneumonia 1-17, which is an associate of methane-oxidizing bacteria and is able to use the products of co-oxidation of methane homologs present in natural gas, as well as metabolic products of the main culture. The technical result was achieved using a strain of heterotrophic bacteria Klebsiella pneumonia 1-17, deposited in the State collection of pathogenic microorganisms and cell cultures "GKPM-OBOLENSK", under registration number B-8465 as a component of the associative culture of methane-oxidizing bacteria to obtain microbial protein mass.
