It has been proposed to use a new organic compound as a specific bactericide against the dangerous pathogen Staphylococcus aureus, namely (2-hydroxy-3-allyl-5-isodecylbenzyl) diethylammonium chloride of the following formula: The specified compound is synthesized in several stages: 1) synthesis of 4-isodecylphenol (by alkylation) phenol with decen-1), 2) synthesis of 2-allyl-4-isodecylphenol based on 4-isodecylphenol (Kleisen rearrangement of allyl ether), 3) synthesis of 2-allyl-4-isodecyl-6-diethylaminomethylphenol (according to the Mannich reaction), 4) translation of 2-allyl-4-isodecyl-6-diethylaminomethylphenol into the corresponding quaternary mixture (treatment with hydrogen chloride). The use of the new compound at a concentration of 62.5 μg / ml has a specific effect on the described pathogenic bacteria Staphylococcus aureus, inhibiting their reproduction, without inhibiting the growth of bacteria of normal intestinal biota.
