REINFORCED REMOVABLE THERMAL INSULATION (ASTI)

The presented reinforced removable thermal insulation (ASTI) contains heat-insulating blocks docked together, located on the outer surface of the heat-insulated equipment. ASTI block is filled with heat-insulating material and consists of a reinforcing frame grating, sheathed on all sides with facing stainless sheets. For mutual detachable connection of heat-insulating blocks with each other, a latch lock is used. When using the proposed latch-lock, guaranteed tightness is ensured, the disclosure of thermal gaps between the lateral edges of the thermal insulation blocks from the side of inaccessible internal bases of thermal insulation during temperature fluctuations is excluded, adjustment work and welding of tension locks on the surface of the blocks are excluded in place during assembly and assembly work on the equipment ... ASTI blocks are able to save weight of stainless steel, increase the strength of heat-insulating blocks by 2.56 times, and significantly reduce the cost of their manufacture.
