A longwall mine construction method comprises implementing mining without roadway tunnelling or pillars in N work faces of a brand new panel, the entire panel being provided with a return air downhill channel (25), a belt downhill channel (28), and a track downhill channel (26), the return air downhill channel (25) and the track downhill channel (26) being located at one end of the panel, and the belt downhill channel (28) being connected to the other end of the panel, and being connected to the return air downhill channel (25). The present method ensures the ventilation of the entire mining area, and, when implementing mining of each work face in the panel, uses a part of the goaf to implement top-cutting for pressure relief and automatic roadway formation, and does not require the excavation of any gate roadways or the use of pillars, thus saving resources and improving efficiency.
