MECHANICAL OBSTACLE DETECTION SYSTEM FOR DOMESTIC STRAW SCREEN ROLLS

The invented mechanical obstacle detection system is consisted of the central disc (1), the upper and lower switches (2a - 2b), the upper and lower stops (3a - 3b), the rear and upper spring (4a - 4b), the spring base (5), the electrical terminal connector (6), the roll bearing (7), the rear cable cover (8) and, finally, the front cable cover (9). The base of the motor (12) rests on the central disc (1) which, being adjustable to the weight changes (kg)applied to the axle (13) by the up-and-down moving straw screen roll (14), is liable to oscillate between the two springs (4a - 4b). Every time the system meets an obstacle (kilos exceeding predefined regulations), the switches (2a - 2b) will act on the stops (3a - 3b), interrupting the current in the motor (15). The greatest advantage of this invention is that it protects the straw screen roll against any obstacle without changing the motor.
