In the case of an assembly of a retaining wall, at least two elongated anchoring elements and a purlin beam, the anchoring elements in the assembled state protrude through respective holes in the retaining wall, which are spaced horizontally from each other. The anchoring elements are anchored on one side of the retaining wall in the ground adjacent to the retaining wall and fixed to the purlin beam on the opposite side. The purlin beam has a circular cylindrical outside which, in the assembled state, lies against the retaining wall at least between the anchoring elements.
