A method for the treatment of diabetes mellitus type 2 comprising administering (d) desPro 36 Exendin-4(1-39)-Lys 6 -NH 2 or/and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, (e) insulin glargine or/and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and (f) metformin or/and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, to a subject in need thereof.
