The method of control by a mining machine working in methane walls is to continuously measure the methane concentration at the inlet and outlet of the wall and to measure the methane concentration in the air flowm through a wall with metanomers (6) placed along the wall.The results of the measurements shall be transmitted to the calculation system (5) which calculates the required machining speed by reducing this speed when methane concentration increases,measured by any of the following: Methanometer (7) in the air stream flowing from the wall or Methanometer (8) in the air flowing into the wall or measured byany of the (6) methanometers placed along the wall and increasing this speed when all methanometers simultaneously show a decrease in measured methane concentrations.The object of the invention is also the control system of the mining machine working in the methane walls.
