New derivatives of quinolin-2-one, method of their preparation, new photo-initiating systems for (the processes of) photoinitiated cationic, radical, thiol-ene and hybrid polymerization and use of new derivatives of quinolin-2-one

The notification concerns new quinoline-2-one derivatives with a general formula (1) and their use. In addition, the notification also concerns the way in which they are produced, the new photoinitiating systems for cationic, rootstock and hybrid photopolymerisation processes and the use of new quinoline-2-one derivatives. The notification shall also cover new photoinitiating systems and their application to the photoinitiating processes of cationic, rootstock, thiol-en and hybrid polymerisation. Quinolin-2-one derivatives may be used as co-initiators in photoinitiating systems containing ion salts,and also as fluorescent molecular probes to monitor the processes of photoinitiated cationic, root, thiol-en and hybrid polymerisation.
