The object of the invention is a device for automatic descent after stopping a fall at a height in manual and remote versions. The device is equipped with a body with supporting elements for components (1),a rotating cord with a self-braking mechanism and a support element (7) of a fall (5) the cord drum is mounted on an axis (2) of a cogwheel (6) immobilised by a cogwheel block (10) mounted on an axis (9) with a jaw grip in two parts, a rigid support (11) with an amortizing cushion (12) and a pressure and rotating cushion (13) with an amortizing cushion (14) locked with a retractor (15) coupled with a lock release (16) coupled with a control module (17). In manual versionthe control module (17) consists of a double bottom with a reservoir spring (21) on a control line (22) closed by a valve and secured by an electric lock (23) being part of a control system connected to an electrical systemwhich includes a top tether (24) equipped with an end switch (25) which closes an electrical circuit connecting the power supply with an electronic time delay system (27) which actuates the electric lock (23) of the control line valve (22). In remote control versiona control module (17) is equipped with a wireless receiver (27) connected to an electrical system consisting of a top tether (24) equipped with an end switch (25) closing the electrical circuit between the power supply and the electronic system being a time delay (27).
