The invention relates to an element of ventilated facade for the passive collection of solar energy, with integrated phase-change materials. According to the invention, the facade element employs an air preheating system using solar radiation, by passing the air sucked-in through some lobed perforations of the solar collector of perforated metal plate type, the air being generally taken over from the upper side of the ventilated wall, due to the temperature gradients of the air in the cavity, thus providing the optimal convective transfer between the plate and the air, and then distributed throughout the building by means of the ventilation system, which may be used both in the cold season of the year and in the intermediary seasons, while in summer conditions, the system only operates during the night, for "free cooling"-type ventilation, while during the day the air layer has an insulating role, the lobed-type geometry having symmetrical shape, such as a cross with chains with rounded sides, the mentioned perforations being placed at 20 mm from one another, with intercalated orifices, rotated by 45° about the perforation weight center, thus the use of the lobed perforations may increase the heat transfer between the sucked air and the heated plate, the orifice being of the cross type, with equal sides and a free area which has the equivalent diameter of 5 mm, the phase-change materials being retrieved inside the facade element in filled aluminium rods.
