The invention relates to an active electronic circuit for discharging a time-delay capacitor of a time relay when the supply voltage disappears. The circuit, as claimed by the invention, comprises a field effect transistor (7) and two resistors (8, 9), a first resistor (9) being used when the installation operates normally, where, while the capacitor (4) is charged, the supply voltage is applied by means of the resistor (9), without affecting the operation process of the analog time relay (1) of the installation, the second resistor (8) being connected in parallel with the capacitor (4) by means of the field effect transistor (7) for a fast discharge of the capacitor (4).
