The invention relates to an integrated system for remote health monitoring and healthcare using data communication networks. According to the invention, the system comprises small sized mobile devices provided with microsensors based on MEMS techology of low power for collecting and converting RF energy and light, which monitor in real time a predefined set of a user's vital functions, such as blood pressure, heart rate, oximetry and hemoglobin, the devices also including a communication module for transmitting the measurements made with the microsensors to a local server and for receiving certain messages with healthcare data.
