The invention relates to a process for recycling the polystyrene fraction from electric and electronic equipments wastes as shock-proof polystyrene composite. According to the invention, the process consists in that the mixture comprising 80% polystyrene fraction is modified by melt alloying at a temperature of 180...200°C, at a mixing speed of 60 rpm, for 6 min, with 20% thermoplastic polymer mixture comprising a styrene-butadiene star block copolymer with a polystyrene content of 30% and a molecular mass of 270000 g/mole and a hydrogenated maleinized styrene-butadiene block copolymer with a polystyrene content of 30% and a molecular mass of 60000 g/mole and 1.4% chemically bonded maleic anhydride, in a ratio of 3:1.
