The invention relates to a method of dielectric dynamic characterization of ferroelectric structures, in relation to the reversal of polarization. According to the invention, the method is based on the application of trapezoidal pulses of variable maximum amplitude and fixed frequency, the equivalent Rp and Cp values being determined by analyzing, at different moments, the current resulting from the application of the voltage pulse.
