MODIFIED BIOSAND FILTER FOR HOUSEHOLD WATER TREATMENT

A water filter device for house hold water treatment, durable and cheap filter to improve water quality for safe to drink has a fixed member, removable members, maintainable members layered members and controllable members. The fixed members comprising of fibrous outer shell serves as main body. The replaceable members includes lid cover place on the top of the filter outer shell, openable orifice and flowable tube. The Maintainable members comprising of air gaps that allows the oxygen to circulate, standing water allow the microorganisms live, dirty biolayer as the main components of the filter and the organic flocculants for sedimentation and flocculation process. The layered members comprising of fine layer filter media below the standing water, medium coarse layer media and coarse layer media. The controllable members compose of flowable tube and openable orifice which used to control the flow of water.
