Product for plasmonic applications comprising nanoparticles, wherein each nanoparticle comprises a pillar (10) formed by a stack of metal layers (11) alternating with dielectric layers (12) and defining a plurality of interfaces capable of supporting localized surface plasmons. The nanoparticle comprises a number N of metal layers (11), equal to the number of dielectric layers (12), such that 4 ≤ N ≤ 8, wherein the dielectric has a refractive index n such that 1.4 ≤ n ≤ 20, wherein the pillar (10) has a transverse dimension D such that 175 nm ≤ D ≤ 600 nm, wherein the thickness tm of each metal layer (11) is such that 5 nm ≤ tm ≤ 25 nm, wherein the thickness td of each dielectric layer (12) is such that 10 nm ≤ td ≤ 40 nm, and wherein the lateral surface of the pillar (10) has an inclination, defined as the angle a between the apothem and the base of the pillar (10), such that 65° ≤ α ≤ 90°.
