Production device (1) for a photosynthetic culture comprising at least one photobioreactor (2) that forms a chamber (3) provided with feeding / evacuation means (4) and comprising: - an aqueous liquid comprising a photosynthetic culture, - at least one means (4) for feeding and evacuating fluids from said chamber that interacts with a management system, - at least one light distributor (6) comprising: - at least a first wall (7) arranged to receiving light at a proximal end, - at least a second wall (8) arranged to emit at least a part of the received light, - a watertight cavity delimited by said at least a first (7) and a second wall (8), - at least a part of the emitting wall (8) is submerged in the aqueous liquid comprising the photosynthetic culture, - at least one fluid that at least partially fills said sealed cavity, - a covering medium (5) of said photobioreactor (2) suitable for limiting evaporation ation of said aqueous liquid, in which said covering means (5) is provided with at least one opening (16) suitable for keeping said at least one light distributor (6) in a fixed position in said chamber (3) of the photobioreactor (2), characterized in that said at least one light distributor is floating and allows the covering medium to be kept above the plane of the algae water.
