Revision prosthesis shaft of a revision articular endoprosthesis for anchoring in an epimetaphysial area of an elongated extended hole (9), especially femur, comprising an epimetaphysis (91), a diaphysis (92) and a distal epimetaphysis (93) , wherein the revision prosthesis shaft (1) has a neck part (11) at the upper end to accommodate an articulated part (10) and a shaft part (12) that connects to the neck part (11), whose surface is configured for adhesion-free fixation on the epimetaphysis (91) and diaphysis (92) and whose length is dimensioned to reach the diaphysis (92) of the bone, characterized in that at the far end of the shaft part (12) there is provided a distal epimetaphysial projection (2) for the shaft, the length of which is dimensioned such that its tip reaches the distal epimetaphysis (93) of the bone, where the projection (2) is configured for fixation with an ad agent hesion (3), especially bone cement, in the distal epimetaphysis (93).
