The present invention relates to a method of estimating slowness, Young'smodulus, Poisson's ratio, brittleness, and the reserve amount of gas of ahorizontaldrilling zone in a sweet spot range at a shale gas play using resistivity andneutronlogging data, and a method of determining fracking intervals of the horizontaldrillingzone using the estimated values. In the present invention, slowness of a sweetspothorizontal drilling zone is estimated using a combination of neutron loggingandresistivity logging data without performing sonic logging on the sweet spothorizontaldrilling zone. Also, elastic modulus and brittleness of the horizontaldrilling zone areestimated based on the slowness, and the reserve amount of shale gas isestimated foreach region of the sweet spot horizontal drilling zone.
