A control system of a mining machine controls adriving device that drives a traveling device of the miningmachine. The control system includes an accelerationcommand value calculation unit that calculates anacceleration command value for accelerating the miningmachine, a correction value calculation unit thatcalculates a correction value for the acceleration commandvalue based on a first driving force component of thedriving device to cause the mining machine to travel at atarget traveling speed and a second driving force componentof the driving device to offset a resistance componentagainst traveling of the mining machine, an additionprocessing unit that calculates a correction accelerationcommand value by adding the acceleration command value andthe correction value, and an acceleration command valueoutput unit that outputs the correction accelerationcommand value to the driving device.
