ANTISEPTIC FORMULATION AND ITS USE

Disclosed is an antiseptic formulation containing nanosized particlescontaining both silver andsilver chloride, and at least one amphoteric surface-active substance whereinat least one of theamphoteric surface-active substance is selected from the group consisting ofcarboxylic acids and theirderivatives of the type I with the following common formula:(see formula I)and carboxylic acids and their derivatives of the type II with the followingcommon formula:(see formula II)where the substituents M1, M2 and R1, as well as the variables a, b, c, m, n,p, and q are as defined in theapplication. Also disclosed are the uses of the antiseptic formulation,including disinfecting agents fordisinfecting water in swimming pools and in other artificial bodies of water,for sanitizing rooms,household equipment, furniture, domestic appliances and industrial equipment,and also for disinfectingwash water and wastewater.
