A system and method are proposed for automating the workflow of snowclearance for a property. This system consists of one or more sensor-basedapparatus placed at exterior premises of the property to capture real-timemeasurements about snow accumulated at these premises, a property usersystem in which user of property defines criteria for raising a snow clearancejob at property via a user interface device, a snow clearance provider systeminwhich a snow clearance provider provides availability for snow clearanceservice via a user interface device and a cloud-computing based serversoftwareapplication that gathers real-time snow depth measurements from the propertyand property user system's requirement for raising snow clearance job atproperty. The method includes cloud-computing based server softwareapplication, that analyzes data from apparatus at exterior premises of theproperty and user configuration, to decide on raising/ not raising snowclearance job at the property. The method also includes the cloud-computingbased server software application assigning snow clearance job to a snowclearance service provider. The method also includes a provision to send anindication to the user of the property about the completion of snow clearancejob once snow clearance service provider performs snow clearance at theproperty.
