Disclosed in the present application are a support arm and radiotherapy equipment for an electronic portal imaging device (EPID), belonging to the field of medical devices. The support arm of the EPID comprises: a guide assembly, the guide assembly being configured to connect to a frame of the radiotherapy equipment; a support bracket, the support bracket being configured to support the EPID, and the support bracket being movably connected to the guide assembly; a drive assembly, the drive assembly being connected to the support bracket, and the drive assembly being configured to drive the support bracket to move on the guide assembly. By means of the drive assembly driving the support bracket to move on the guide assembly, the EPID on the support bracket is no longer located opposite to a treatment head in the radiotherapy equipment, such that a radiation beam issued by the treatment head will not be projected onto the EPID, thereby effectively improving the service life of the EPID.
