The present application relates to a server, a survey grid optimisation method, and a storage medium, the method comprising: in an area without an assigned surveyor, acquiring each road intersection, a predetermined length of road in communication with each road intersection, the number of car insurance cases mapped to each road intersection, and the respective corresponding distance of each intersection to each survey point, and calculating the respective sub-gravity and total gravity for each survey point of each intersection without an assigned surveyor; before moving the survey point, acquiring the total road length in an area covered by driving within a predetermined weighted driving time with the position of the survey point at the centre, acquiring the number of car insurance cases in the covered area, and calculating the weighted energy of the survey point and a first weighted energy sum; after moving the survey point, calculating a second weighted energy sum; and using a predetermined algorithm to confirm whether to set the position of the survey point after moving as the new position of the survey point. The present application can optimise the distribution of a car insurance survey grid, increasing the efficiency of car insurance surveying.
