[Problem] The present invention provides a water attaching tool for a water discoloration body and a water discoloration body set with which it is possible to suppress generation of mold at a pen tip even when stored in a cap-attached state after use, and to prevent external leakage of water that has dropped from the pen tip side when carried. [Solution] A water attaching tool comprising a body 2 and a pen tip 3 which is provided at the front end of the body 2 and is made of a porous body or a brush body. A cap 6 is detachably attached to a pen tip-side outer surface of the body 2. The cap 6 is provided with a ventilation hole 61 which provides communication between the inside of the cap 6 and the outer air to promote drying of the pen tip. A leakage preventing portion for preventing external leakage of water dripping from the pen-tip side is provided on an inner surface of the ventilation hole 61 of the cap 6 or on an inner surface in the vicinity of the ventilation hole 61. The leakage preventing portion comprises a protruding wall portion 62 protruding from the inner surface of the cap 6 and surrounding the ventilation hole 61.
